When I grow up...

I want to be a Food Network recipe approver.

See a fun picture below because I have nothing to say... I picked this one because this boy...well, man I guess, but it feels funny calling Brandon a man for some reason. Anyway, this man was at my house with his lovely wife tonight having an informal interview with my dad. It looks like this one will be the newest part time addition to the Morrell Manufacturing family. Congrats intelligent one. Those are some pretty good looking men in the background. Click the picture for a closer look... My favorite part? The fat man leaning over the arm rail. Makes me smile...

OH MY GOSH! I'M FREGGIN' GETTING MARRIED IN TEN DAYS!!!!!!!

I'm still in shock. At what point does it sink in, girls? And if you say when you're walking down the aisle, I'll kick you. I might freak out. If I were you, I'd come to my wedding just for the freak show! Just kidding... However, I have a "to do" list ten miles long. Let me give you the highlights:

1. Completely plan a Martha Stewartesque wedding complete with totally cool unique food idea that includes one fondue pot per five people, five ramakins (however you spell them) per fondue pot, two fondue forks per person, and three sauce cups per five people... all this along with totally homemade... well, pretty much everything.
2. Completely redecorate ten year old house with impatient (but working on it and doing VERY well) fiance. This includes ripping up the carpet and trim, replacing it with hardwood flooring which must be sanded, stained and sealed (say that five times fast), paint all walls, replace all trim, pick out and schedule installation of two rooms of carpet. Whew! *wipe brow* And theeeen....
3. Move. Are you kinding me???? I'll pull a "Melanie" here... Riggghhhtttt....
4. Eat healthy, exercise, yadda yadda yadda. Auntie Flo needs the chocolate amaretto ice cream in the freezer downstairs!!! Grrrrrrrrr I hate my metabolism!
5. Help mother redecorate her house. Buy patio furniture, 5.2 billion picture frames, and careful place every morsel of decorating itemry (oh yeah, I made that one up.)
6. Pick out music with picky music loving fiance. By the way, our dance is going to make you cry so hard you will wet your pants. Hmmm, hopefully I don't do that. I cried tonight when I heard it. Bryan picked it out. It's a surprise.
7. Sweeze in six sessions of pre-marital counseling and sweat about scary questions-o-privacy that might come up. Oh yeah, and rewrite vows at some point.
8. Get excited about new scary job. Attempt not to puke daily due to nervousness and excitement of new scary job.
9. Buy new deodorant b/c old deodorant is way used to my nervous sweatiness.
10. And number 10! Must update blog to keep bored friends happy. ;-)

Much love to the unbusy people of the world. I'll see you in a couple of weeks...

Cheeeeeeeeeesssssseeee!

I love it! Love it! Love it! Cheese and the matching food items that are in relation with the moldy milk by-product are my favorite foods. When coupled with a good cracker (Town House Bistro crackers to be exact), a small cheese cube can take me from being a completely crabby person to the happiest girl in the room. Cheers to cheese! Another way I thoroughly enjoy a use of cheese (the cream variety) is in form of cake. Tonight my dear friends and I will be dining at the famous Cheesecake Factory. We have decided to enjoy our dessert BEFORE dinner. Summer is a freaking genius (she thought of that)! And she looks really good in khaki pants... Anyway, shopping and drinking go very well together by the way. I bought so many lovely things today. The girls are great shopping companions because the will be honest in a nice way, but they tell me I look good in some things. They are very patient and nice. I can't help but wonder how nice they'll be when I steal bites of their cheesecake!

Teeth are so important.

Happy Father's Day to the dads of the world! My dad worked hard on the backyard fence for his father's day... :-( But he did get to enjoy an incredibly good meal. We had venison steaks with different homegrown vegetables. It was so good! All the veggies were from my Pepa's garden (green beans, new potatoes, cabbage, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, & zucchini!) It was a smorgasbord! Dad was smilin' after that meal! Speaking of smiles... my dad has a set of really nice chompers. He's never had a cavity and he takes good care of his pearly whites. My bridal pics are tomorrow so as I type right now, I'm sitting in some tingly Crest Whitestips. Thank the Lord someone invented these. Here's my scary before picture. I never realized my teeth were so crooked 'til I started taking pictures of them.

Ben Roethlisberger may be released from the hospital on Thursday. I think Bryan should meet him and give him a lesson on the importance of wearing helmets on sportbikes or any bikes for that matter. Guess which bike is whose???

Fondue is freakin' awesome. I think I'm going to go into the "fondue pot rental business." I was thinking about this on the way home from my sister's tonight. I will be the proud owner of 30 fondue pots after my reception. I could totally rent those puppies out and make a dollar or two. Any thoughts? I could put a little 1/8 of a page add in the little freebie wedding magazine... Here's a pic of the pots I bought today! Shout out to www.fonduefusion.com. The guy that owns the site/business (John) was awesome- super friendly and fast! He gave me an unbelievable price and did some extra work to accommodate my huge order!

Scary... Bryan looks just, and I mean JUST like Ben Roethlisberger. He's the reckless pro football player that just got in a motorcycle wreck putting himself through a car windshield. It's amazing that he only broke his jaw. The people on the news were very concerned that he didn't break any limbs or screw up his knees. Sad state of the world. Anyway, here are the pics. Bryan's hotter for sure... and check out that hot chick hangin' on him!
Inspired by the witty antics of Mrs. Woody, I have decided to start my very own blog. I may not be so hot at posting to it, but I promise to try.
